Chicago Special : The Thriller!

This third chapter will cover the tough experience that we had while we were in Chicago and believe me u guys can't imagine what we'd been go through and all of it happened in just one night and day! I shall start with a story of the first beggar what we met. It was at Union Station and it was a young lady carrying a backpack and she asked me and my friend to gave her a few dollars ( maybe about two dollars) to get home because she said that she was stuck for 3 hours at the station because she didn't have enough money to go back! At first i was kind a believe her but since we have a lot of these kind of people in Malaysia we refused to give her hardly anything! not even a penny! She left while mumbling to herself! Then when we arrived at the United Center , There were one man asking my friend a quarter for a bus ride! But one of my friend refused to allowed my other friend to gave him the money so she just said we didn't have any money and he left afterward. Outside of

Chicago Special : Muslims are everywhere!

Hmm the entry might sounds like what's happening with the Muslims? Are they being nice here or are they being disrespected by the US citizens? That's not what it is actually and in fact the citizens are treated the Muslims fairly and it is not exactly just like the media portrayed them to be... Before we ride a bus to Chicago, we waited our bus at Columbus (which is the capital of Ohio state). While we waiting for the bus to arrived, we went to the Subway to buy some food and while we were busying taking picture infront of the building, then one guy offered me to take our picture together and I said yes! He's definitely not an American by the way he look I can tell that he might be from the Middle East and I was right about him as soon I asked him, "are u a muslim?" because his name is Rasyid ( I noticed his name tag on his shirt). He immediately answered that he is a Muslim and he came from Ethiopia and he explained that his country have about 85% Muslims pop

Chicago Special : MUSE RESISTANCE TOUR 2010

OK let me see since there's a lot of things happened in Chicago so i'm gonna separate the story chapter by chapter. So, this is the chapter of MUSE only! only the band... Me and my 5 girls went to Chicago just to watched MUSE concert. It's kind a crazy idea at first because we planned it on the last minute which is a week before the concert. So, Zatil booked the tickets for us and the transportation tickets. We ride a bus from Columbus to Chicago and it took about 6 hours to arrived in the windy city. The concert supposedly to start at 8 pm so we went to the United Center by a cab (there will be a chapter about a transportation and u guys gonna love it)! Then we went into the entrance and they apparently they didn't allowed us to bring our bag so we had to checked in the bag at the counter (silly! cuz i cant even bring my mineral water). The show began at 8pm with an opening band that i didn't recognize and it was OK but not entertaining. After than the stadium

COOL: Cultural Subject!

my internship in US most likely concentrating on learning a new culture and adaptation of new environment and atmosphere. if before this, i was mixed around with bunch of malay people but now i have to mix around with americans and speak in their language which is english. yes i know it's not hard to speak english but to me it's a big challenge because knowing that you are not used to speak using that language back there in Malaysia. (just ignore my writing skill because i promise to level it up along i'm in here)! it's a challenge for you when you have to work with people that totally different from your background. and it made me felt like a huge dummy... but when i think about it back, i used to remind myself that this is part of self - learning. this internship it's not focusing on how well you manage impress your boss at work because they were not expecting an excellent work because you are a student and you can't do nothing much unless you were very good.

COOL : Adventure towards the end!

athens, ohio located in United States was a quite a rural area if i would like to compare with Shah Alam in Malaysia. but it is seemingly to be such a peaceful town full of friendly people. i never thought that i would be able to have a chance to experience all of these events. but i'm not daydreaming anymore... i am standing at the land of the United States. throughout the journey from KL i was scared and excited at the same time. scared because i was actually traveled by myself and excited because it was my very first international flight. i never leave Malaysia (the farthest place i had been to would be Terengganu.. hahaha). KL to Amsterdam took about 13 hours and honestly i didn't enjoyed it. From Amsterdam i continued my next flight to Detroit (first door to the United States) and i can tell you that it was the worst flight ever, let me highlight it here that DELTA AIRLINES is the most annoyed and lame airlines! the crew was pathetic and all of them make me pissed off...

COOL: Novel Review - 'KETIKA CINTA BERTASBIH'
