athens, ohio located in United States was a quite a rural area if i would like to compare with Shah Alam in Malaysia. but it is seemingly to be such a peaceful town full of friendly people. i never thought that i would be able to have a chance to experience all of these events. but i'm not daydreaming anymore... i am standing at the land of the United States.
throughout the journey from KL i was scared and excited at the same time. scared because i was actually traveled by myself and excited because it was my very first international flight. i never leave Malaysia (the farthest place i had been to would be Terengganu.. hahaha). KL to Amsterdam took about 13 hours and honestly i didn't enjoyed it. From Amsterdam i continued my next flight to Detroit (first door to the United States) and i can tell you that it was the worst flight ever, let me highlight it here that DELTA AIRLINES is the most annoyed and lame airlines! the crew was pathetic and all of them make me pissed off... the food sucks and it took about 8 hours to reached Detroit....
Then i had to queued for the immigration (and i forgot to informed that there was a security interviewed in Amsterdam as well before i was allowed to boarded on plane), there's a lot of people and i had to waited for my turned for about an hour... after they granted me with the green light then i was about to get my luggage... unfortunately one of my luggage is missing and it such a nightmare that my luggage was then declared lost!!!
but i had to continued my journey.. it isn't over yet! then it was the customs process and then check in for the next flight to Columbus. and i had waited for about 4 hours for my next flight. when i'd arrived Columbus airport then i'd reported my missing luggage at Delta counter and i was damn tired!
the representative who supposed to picked me up arrived with 3 of my friend who came early than me and after we grab some dinner, they sent me to the town hotel just because my room was not prepared yet.
hmmm....
and here i am still waiting for my luggage to be found, i had filed the claim form and the insurance was strictly sucks... what a terrible journey and complicated. i wish things will get better soon...
until now then...
